Working Equitation Clinic

The focus of the clinic will be on the Ease of Handling (EOH) trial along with the fundamentals of dressage and how it relates to Working Equitation obstacles. Introductory riders will learn the basic rules and criteria for execution of obstacles. At the Introductory level only walk and trot are required. For experienced WE riders, topics will be personalized to your needs. Each session will be approximately 1.5 hours with three riders per group determined by level horse and rider are currently at. (Dressage or WE). Riders under 16 years old may register only with approval of clinician.

Auditors are welcome. Auditing fee is $25. Pay on day of clinic.
Stephanie Hayes is a life long professional in the horse industry and has been involved in Working Equitation since 2017. She is a licensed USAWE “L” judge, Recognized Professional Instructor and serves on the USAWE Professional Development Committee. She is the co founder of New England Working Equitation, a non profit organization providing educational opportunities to riders in the North east.
Stephanie has competed successfully on self trained horses earning numerous National Leaderboard and Regional Championships at Introductory through Master’s level. She was awarded the Platinum Lifetime Achievement award on her Lusitano, DEM Rayo in 2025, the same year she qualified for selection for the USAWE team to compete at the 2026 World Championships in Spain. Stephanie is currently ranked 70th in World Association for Working Equitation (WAWE) rankings. She lives in the Green Mountains of Johnson, Vermont.
This clinic can take up to 12 participants. Remember, you must submit payment at time of registration to secure your spot.
